Joseph H. Stewart Recreation Area overlooks the popular destination for hikers, bikers, anglers and boaters. The park is about 40 miles from Crater Lake National Park and makes an excellent jumping-off point for an exploration of southern Oregon.

DAY USE AMENITIESA large day-use area features a flat, sandy swim beach (no lifeguards), expansive green lawn, horseshoe pits and volleyball courts. Day Use Area C available for reservation. For day use Area C reservations call the Parks Office at 541-774-8183.

Area C Rental Fees - $100/day (Fri.-Sun.), $75/day (Mon.-Thu.)

BOATING AND FISHINGA boat ramp and moorage facility in the day-use area serves visiting boaters. Anglers troll the 10-mile-long reservoir all year for trout and bass. A fish cleaning station is located next to the boat launch.

The Marina offers Boat Rentals including 8-person and 10-person Pontoon Boats, 15 ft. Aluminum Fishing Boats, Kayaks and Paddleboards. We offer four-hour (half day) and eight-hour (full day) rentals of the Pontoon Boats and 15 ft. Aluminum Boats and two-hour rentals of the Kayaks and Paddleboards. To make reservations for any of the boat rentals, please contact the Marina directly.

YEAR-ROUND CAMPINGThe park offers over 200 campsites, many with RV hookups. ideally located along the rogue river, the campground is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the many features the park has to offer. Family-friendly bike paths leading to the day use area, swim beach, resort and other amenities are a great way to spend the day exploring.
